OEM:

1) Is tied to one motherboard so if you buy this and then change computers or mobo it will not activate
2) has no support from MS because the pc manufacturer is supposed to support it (which is why oem is always cheaper)

So, I got the email with the key about 20 mins after I ordered and..... it didn't work :-( I emailed back showing my error.

Not one to give up so easy I got to google and after a couple of trial and errors, low and behold I got it activated and even now I still cannot believe it! I needed to join a machine to a domain and you need 10 pro for that not 10 home so I just saved my client $90!

On a side note, after I had already found the solution via google they emailed me back with the same instructions.
