@Asher Why not the Amex Gold - Business (75k)

I am about to do a double app - Gold consumer and Gold Business thinking that those are the two next best cards to go for (have amex plat - my only amex card).

I feel like I am missing something.

p.s. Other card opened this year - citi AA. Also, have 2 other cards open for years already. (citi and whtvr the has advantage card is).

What's actually in the wallet?  I have an http://www.all-ett.com wallet, so it's think and holds 20 cards easy.  Fully loaded, it's thinner than most leather wallets empty.  I just went and starred what's actually in the wallet.  I also have a few of ATM cards that I carry as well.  I have no idea what's in the wife's purse.  Last time I looked in there, I was lost for hours....   :o

That wallet looks nice, I'm going to have to get one. Mine is too thick :(

I've been eying the 75k biz app, but Amex will insist on pulling my Experian, which has too many recent apps. It's still in my sights though, just need to sit tight for a bit more.

HAS advantage is a scam, you can support Israel much more with an Amex that awards MR or Amex SPG.

It's not a science. Every situation is different, in my case I feel like I'll be pushing my limits with Amex.

I knew very little about CCs when I signed up a few years ago. I actually signed up to help a friend earn a ticket to Israel for referring like 20 people or something.

Haven't used it in a while.

My Maaser for the amex rewards is helping Israel (in theory - except it really goes to American Yeshivos mostly - So helping Bnei "Israel"  :)  ).

Turns out I have another CitiBusiness card I didn't even know was active, it was compromised in the recent Citicard.com breach.

Business cards are harder to keep track of, since they are not reported on your credit report.

I did limit the damage by applying for both Cap1 consumer and business cards with a 2bm, so just 3 credit hits instead of 6 for $2,000 of signup bonuses.

8 Amex and 9 Chase (!), or did you close some?

I think he was saying he closed the Amex hence the minus sign
