Seems like this is their way of limiting the sign up bonus payout. I certainly don't plan on making the trip to a branch to sign up.

Not until just now. I tried to log in and found my account locked.

They still want me to come into a branch.

I got the DC, and pin as well. They even sent the trial deposits to verify my external trasfer. Tried logging into online banking, and I am locked out. Called and got some BS about me not living in their banking region blah blah blah, and I have to call tom. to speak to special CS.

seems like im the only guy in brooklyn who isnt having security issues yet i didnt know it needed a 500 minimum opening deposit to qualify

You can still deposit. You couldnt deposit when you opened AFAIK. I dont have any issues on my account, my wife's account and my 2 children's accounts.

i already did a 20 dollar deposit. did you do 500? do you know if i can add now and until when?

No one can know for sure. There was no ability to deposit at opening. I would argue that it includes all deposits thru 4/7. Poorly drafted T&C
