Hey guys, I'm still here. Dont worry.

To make a long story short, my 3500$ Laptop got stolen, so It's been kind of tough for me. I just ordered a new laptop, didn't get it yet, but I haven't had much time to be on the forums.

I missed you guys. Anyway I have to go, all the best.

Yes I did it with an amex, unfortunately, I was 2 weeks past the 3 month policy. Really sucks.

The worst part is, I know who did it, but I don't have any proof, so I'm stuck with the knowledge of who stole my laptop yet can't do crap.

Oh well, it would have happened either way.

While its true that only items stolen within 3 months are covered, you have an additional 30 days to report it to AMEX as stolen.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Are you sure, I called them and they said they cant do anything, that i was past the 90 days.

I could smack the guy up with a monkey wrench, ain't going to help much.

If it didn't happen here it would have happened somewhere else, if it was meant to happen, so be it.

Hi Yitzer!

From personal experiance I can tell you that Amex covers you for anything that happened within 90 days, but you can report it up to (at least!) 30 days after the incident which makes it 120 days!

BTW keep up those multiple posts!

Your very welcome.

Now now, lets not get ahead of ourselves over here, I said that it would have happened regardless of where I was. It may have been meant to be, that doesn't mean I'm happy with it. lol.
