Free Bags on AA

Is there any way to get free bags on AA? I have gold status on CO and Alaska airlines. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Try to have AA match your Gold status.

i asked them to match from another airline, and their said their new policy is no status matching but you can take their challenge.
costs $100 bucks and u have 90 days to get 5,000 pts - which flying in discounted fares is flying 10,000 miles
