Misunderstanding. That was regarding the 75,000 bonus offer. This 50,000 offer might be available longer. But after all, if people applying for this want to get the better offer of 75,000 they should definitely hurry up.

That'll work. Or try clearing all cookies, that worked for me(in i.e., for some reason I had to try more than once).

I originally applied for the 25,000. than got matched to this offer. later upgraded to the 75,000 after countless attempts. but was successful in the end. i don't see why it should be different with applying straight for this.

I'm itching to apply again, after the rep's near churn endorsement, but I fear an FR...

I'm getting fed-up with Amex's passive aggressive F/R policy, why approve me more then you're willing to, then threaten to close all my Amex accounts?

have u been FR'ed yet? im also concerned with applying for more cause if i get FR'ed i will need to cancel all my accounts so far i have had 2 golds and one plat in like 4 months i want to apply for either another plat or gold along with an SPG but im worried about that

Because they can say that you got 2 years free and the 75K offer only offered 1 year free.

I am waiting to get the card and spend the $500 first. That way I hope to get them to post on the spot as opposed to putting a note on the account.

F/R/d like two years ago, had to close (IIRC) 7 cards with nearly $70k in credit (issued pre-recession). I'm just not up for explaining my churns to the F/R department.

No, i wrote that already before. But they suggested waiting till the annual fee applies to the card next year, than call in with the bonus ID to get it waived. Thats probably a great option
