Amex Gold 50k after $500 first 2 years free LINK

I am debating to sign up for this card or the CO 50k sign up... any suggestions as to which is better?

For those that want to use points to fly to eretz Israel,I don't if it's so smart to transfer all your points to co, as the points needed will go up to 80k, while there still is the option to transfer to ana and you only need 60k to fly to Israel

But they say Ana isnt as good and very limited( to 2 airlines)..

Too many recent inquiries for my blood. They all pull from Experian here so I don't want to keep taking so many hits.

Any thoughts on the having an open charge card issue?

You only get one inquiry if you do them together. However many people , (besides Dan who has his way with CC ) are reporting  that Chase is only approving one of them .

I applied for too many lately , don't want to push my luck and ruin it . Was hoping to wait a little. Or take the plunge and put a freeze on experian where al my pulls are from.

I just applied for this card and was approved,  thank you.  On the confermation page awindow popped up with an offer for the premier rewards Gold card from American Express witha an offer for 10000 points after signup.  I am confused because I thought I just signed up for that card.

I have another question in regards to the 50k points,  if you have previously discussed it can you please direct me there.  What can I transfer these points into, and do I have more options since I allready have the Platinum Charge Card.

i just cancelled my gold card last week cuz my year was up and would have gotten charged $175.
am i still eligible for this offer?
should i wait a bit before signing up this deal?

The continental 50,000 was supposed to be ended today. so you have to decide very fast.

Actually i don't see why the Chase CO should be better. with this one you could still transfer to CO. Plus you have a chance to move it up to 75,000 (slight chance). Plus you have 2 years waived, a thing that the CO card doesn't have. Plus there's nobody beating Amex customer service at all.

funny tried this through google chrome and got a message the offer is over, yet through mozzila it was available and i got approved instantly

But there is a huge chance that you will be paying exorbitant taxes bc the American based carriers don't exactly have the most generous availability.
