i called yesterday and one rep told me that the free phone being offered needs to be used, not just line active; three rep told me that the line just needs to be active, and a fourth first said goes by line, then said needs to be actually used.
of the two that said it needs to be used one said for 30 days and one said for 45 days.
one of the reps who said the line needs to be active but actual phone doesn't need to be used marked that on my account, would that be enough, in case i am charged for it, since i want it as a backup?
and am i able to give it to a friend to use, even though it's in a two year contract?
