What is UR?  Also, would I have to wait any specific amount of time to get the miles from Chase if I spent 4000 within a few weeks?  I am thinking of putting my property taxes (3700) on the card and then just paying it off.  That would leave only 300 needed for the points.  Should that work or is there something I need to be concerned about?

Also, I signed up fro Flying Blue as I understand they are partnered with Chase.

What is the ultimate difference between Chase Saphire Preferred and Chase Saphire Reserve other than initial points?  I am going into a physical Chase branch to apply, so I understand I will (hopefully) get 100,000 miles vs. 50,000?

Aside from the additional sign up bonus, the reserve has an annual $300 travel credit and allows you to redeem your points for airline tickets at 1.5 cents per point value. The preferred doesn't have those benefits
