Is this not consider stealing from Amex or is this less then insite regarding Halacha , and let's say I was downloading it and then uninstall it did you find this better ?!?! What kind of talk is that??
To the point !!! I don't thing I am ass for posting it when in the same time it was comments before witch discusses why it's not such a good idea to download it like maybe they will have your private or hidden info since you download it ... Bla bla just saying .

The diff bet applying for plat card and then canceling, and even the insight and then deleting is very simple, if you ask american express they will say to try it bec they are confident that you will really like it and keep it.
What you did (I am not taking sides I am just explaining) is more like calling them up and saying I have a plat card and I never got my 50k for it please give it (and really you don't have the plat card)

They said they were adding 10,000 points to my account and then only gave me 1,000.

Ugh I have to contact them again and tell them they messed up.

just notice;

when amex credit me the 10k points for insite they made my "" Available Points Advance "" for 0 (thats a program that amex lets me borrow points in advance and to pay it back like in 12 months ) till now i had 60.000 availeble to borrow. now its gone

I had the same thing, I think it happened once my actual points became available.

points advance are only available to card mem that are part of mrp for more than 6 months. if you are you are still elig for point advance if not you are not elig although it may say you can advance points when you actually try it it wont work

Sent SM re: 10K points for bonus ID 6549 for InSite. Let's see if they will credit it within 10 hrs (their posted response time to an SM) ...

My point was I didn't want just a response, but was hoping their response would come with a credit.

UPDATE: Response was "you'll surely get it w/in 6-8 weeks, its automated, can't be expedited"

I got that response and then sent a follow up SM saying that I really love Amex and Insite, and if you could please expedite the process, and so they gave me the points then and there.

i did phrase it in a way that i the promo exists (being careful not to say i was targeted as i didnt want to lie). may try again sending same message to diff dept.

I just checked my Points Balance and I saw that my Balance just jumped up another 10k as of this morning.
