If I already did the 10k with my platinum (which I've since closed) any chance I can do the $10 offer with 1 or more of my others (Premier, SPG Con, SPG Biz, as well as AU on the SPG's)? They're all under the same Amex online account, ie same username and password. When I did the 10k offer it seemed as though officially you were supposed to download it and login using your userid and pass, as if that was going to identify you for the bonus. If that's the case here too, I already did that for the 10k offer. If it goes per card though, maybe I can still do it on one or more of my other cards?

Got message response. Took about 24 hours but... I GOT APPROVED!

hi i just called and 12 minutes later i was approved for the offer. Rep said will get points by July 15. Any reason to worry? I just got my gold card last week so was kinda hard to get approved cause i did not exist when they ran promo. How can I expedite this.

I don't think you have to worry; if they made a promise to approve you for the offer, just wait. Don't worry about "not existing" when they ran promo because it's totally out of their own goodwill, not obligation that they matched that offer anyway. You can call them/SM them to try to get them to expedite it, but why not just wait till Jul 15 and see? No biggie..

I can't tell you haw true this is. I just got 75.000 points expedited through a SM despite for Rep. telling me how "impossible this is."

ugh, can't get any reps to expedite the points via SM or phone yet. they keep saying wait 8 weeks no matter what excuses i have. what do you guys tell them over the phone or via SM to get them to agree?

Asked for a match to the Insite deal, but they said since I signed up late, they can't match. They did give my 1000 points though.

I'm not planning to ask for more, but just for my info: next time something like this happens, can you call MR and ask again for the match? Or does it ruin the chances of a full match if they "goodwill" a smaller number of points?

If you say you signed up before (there are ways to say it where you're not outright lying, kinda like white lies), you'd get the 10k

Unfortunately, they mentioned on their note (not on my note to them) that my card was opened in late June and the promo was open from 4/17/2011 & 5/31/2011.

Again, my leftover question: since they already issued a small goodwill point bonus, would you still be able to call/SM for a full match?
