With the SPG 3 nights and get a free night promo.  I'm wondering is it worth it to do pay $50 X 25 stays = $1250 to get platinum status and 8 free nights in those resorts.  Alot of the rooms in those resorts are worth more than $150/night. 

This is also on top of the points you get for the stays.

There are SPG rooms in the oversea markets that are $50 but someone has to check in.  I have one where it's close to enough where I can have someone check in.

SPG PLAT is completely worthless in my opinion, its good for nothing other then getting a choice of either 500 spg points or a free beer upon check in .

Last time I tried to status match from Hyatt diamond SPG declined it because the diamond "wasn't earned through patronage of Hyatt hotels."

If you send the stay history, which is 0, its pretty obvious.

When status matching from a program with no activities, send in a copy of the card or a screenshot which shows your status but not that you've never stayed/flown...

The people who status match have seen cards and statements from other companys a hundred or so times a day.  How do you know you will have the right format?  If you dont have any stays at a hotel or a elite membership at an airline, then its pretty hard to create a forgery.
