Whatever you do just keep in mind that there is a "slight" chance that churning (and other kinds of so called system-abuse) can trigger a red flag which "can sometimes" result in an entire accounts closure...

Not trying to scare you but it's definitely good to be prepared
are you saying this with experience?

Actually not - "Thank God"!
But I read a lot about it here at DDF and on FT from people who actually had this unfortunate expirience...

The following 2 things are (among others) stringed to trigger the Chase Review:
1. Churning cards for points
2. When they realize your credit limit is more than 70-80% of your annual income.

Wow, I can't even imagine what type of complicated super computer they have calculating If(CL / Income > 80%, then issue red flag).
Seems tough

Credit limit or actual spending (debt)? If one adds of the credit limits on their cards, its monthly. that would been they gave me a CL of about 500% more then my income....

I believe it's your total CL (even though it can be churned monthly) ~ your ANNUAL income

I did it for my wife. I switched the card from a visa to mc then got a new visa. I did this after about a month or 2 of getting the first card.

Did she get instant approval for the 2nd or she had to argue?

When I applied she still had the first one as a visa (I wanted to see if it was possible to have the app switched, but it was a no go). It got declined for having the same card, once I had the first card switched I then got her approved by closing her recently opened Southwest card (part of the 3bm that included the original SP). I wanted to close it anyway after redeeming the 50k for GCs so as not to pay the fee.
