MC=Car rental in Israel.
Visa-Dollar stores and more more acceptance internationally.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I currently have a SP MC, I switched over from the Visa a year ago. I was planning on reapply for the Visa and close the MC. I have a few questions.

1. When I do this, I want to call the number on the auto-rejection notice I get, and convince the rep to close the MC and approve the Visa, correct?

2. When I apply for the Visa, does anyone know if this will pull an inquiry if this is auto rejected?

3. Would it be wise to do this after a AOR or the same time when I apply for other chase cards ( I am planning on 1 bus and 2 per cards not including SP Visa.)

Thank you.

1- you call before you even get a letter, the secon you get a pending or a decline you call recon asap

2 - gotta ask the experts

3- as a starter you know you get sep pulls for biz and personal? also its smart to always do everything together

Can anyone report how long the 40K bonus signup points take to appear in your Sapphire Preferred account? I know they say 6-8 weeks, but I wanted to know people's experience.

Thanks.

Since I'm asking about different cards (United and Sapphire), I thought people would be upset if I put them in the wrong place.

Is there any way to expedite the process? Someone told me that they have had success "borrowing" the points up front from Chase to book a trip on condition that Chase will collect money for them if they don't appear on the account. Anyone use this before? Would the same work with United miles?

I searched for an answer to this question, but didn't find a clear answer in the 5 minutes I searched.  I don't travel much, so while I should know the answer, I don't

I know the SP Visa has no foreign fees.  But between SPG, Freedom and SP Visa, the SP is best for airline tickets to Israel?  Thx.

Question, if you have a Chase Saphire Mastercard, can you apply for a Chase Saphire Visa?
