I just converted Visa to MC. When I actually walk into a rental place in Israel what will I need to show them?

For rentals in Israel what do you get if you convert the Visa to Master card? Can you use your Ultimate Rewards points to rent as well?

Cash

You get more value with the cash then with say Airline miles, rentals or hotels? I do a lot of traveling.

You can use your UR points to rent a car but it's not usually worth it IME and I don't know if they rent cars in Israel with points.

For Rentals in IL if you have a Mastercard the CDW is covered.

You get the most value IMO transferring to airline partners and using the points for flying Business/First.

I use 80% of my UR for United and Hyatt.

Nice, any downside to switch to Mastercard aside from what I know on how Visa works differently with fraud and merchant complaints?

Cool! Does transferring UR to Hyatt integrate at all with the card promo?

Haha, you're right cash is obviously the best versatility wise. But if I can get $1,000 worth of flights for $500 then for me and in this particular case I would rather the miles! Unless I am missing something here.

All of them have their pros. UR only transfer to a handful of airlines.

if I  downgrade from sapphire preferred to plain sapphire will I still be able to transfer my UR points to hotels and airlines?

chase rep says if I want to get approved for the Hyatt card I need to shift around credit and need to downgrade or close the card to have enough credit
