can I always upgrade back to preferred once I meet the threshold on the hyatt and and united (the two cards I applied for) and cancel the united to move enough credit back to the sapphire to get preferred status again

Im sorry to ask again but I'm a little mixed up here- I have spwmc..
What's best way to proceed a "churn"? (to get max points out if it)...
1- apply for visa (after transferring points to dif card) -
2- apply for another wmc
3-apply for visa- "change" card to visa -then reapply to wmc (or do I have to wait 60 days for this??)
Will I be declined either way and have to close and transfer credit (and points?) ?
If yes is there a way to get two sign up bonuses out of this??

I would recommend 1. Apply for visa. If you are having trouble convincing them you need 2 SP with different associations using all the tricks such as I like to separate my spending, also I want WMC for rental coverage in Israel and Visa for dollar stores, tell them "fine well I REALLY need the visa more so can you please close my current WMC and open up this Visa."

I apologize but they way you wrote this is hard to read.

What is the difference between 1 and 3?
And why apply for another MC (number 2) when you have one already?

Yes, you will be declined automatically if you have one SP and apply for another.
Transfer out points before applying...easier that way.
You will get the second SP sign up bonus when you offer to close the one you originally had.

It's not about the quantity of your posts.  It's about the quality.

Sorry, not sure how to explain..
I would want to aply for another wmc (#2)to get the bonus again,

And in 3 I meant to ask if possible to get two bonuses out if this?
(1 for switching the wmc to visa, then another when reapply for wmc)
But im assuming not possibly a you say can't get two cards same time ..

You can't get a bonus for converting, only for opening a new account.

Thanks!

If I downgrade to a Freedom will I lose my ability to transfer my UR points to airlines?

What's another way to get rid of the annual fee but to retain UR preferred points?
