It has never gone up since dropping to 40k...

+1 you are overreacting to a cute response to an unclear question, no-one can know,

As far as your actual intended question; in my opinion it is extremely doubtful, it hasn't gone up since it dropped, overall it seems that lower bonuses and bigger spends are here to stay. There are some cards that have gone up and down like the SW and BA and United, but not Sapphire.

I was thinking about throwing the SP into the mix, but was hoping there was at least targeted better offers out there, I guess not, will have to snatch it up next time

I cancelled my SP card about a month ago, it's still showing up online.
How long should I wait till I reapply ?
Should I ask them to remove from online account?

You can reapply now. No need to wait. You can "hide" it from your account by yourself, if you so wish.

I'm not sure this is the right place for this, but heres my question. My free year on my sapphire preferred is up. Now that I have the Ink Bold is there any gain in me paying the annual fee and keeping it open or should I just downgrade it?

Downgrade and apply again, or if you don't want to apply again switch it to a Mastercard and keep it for another year for free. (assuming the annual fee didn't get billed yet, if it did you may or may not get refunded by swapping it to a MC)
