Why all the converting? why not apply and get 2nd bonus?
For the SP visa while you still have the SP visa?

Once the Visa in converted to the MC and activated, how long will the Visa account still show current and active activity on chase.com?
Does it mean that its still technically active or I have nothing to worry about and could reapply?
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

Do you think there is a need to wait?
I don't have that issue.

I would say possibly not since its one account now which is an MC account, it happens to be the Visa still works but its not a visa account. Again this is only from my thinking.

Downgrading Chase Sapphire Preferred
« Reply #2311 on: October 14, 2013, 05:47:49 PM »
I called yesterday to downgrade my Chase Sapphire Preferred so that I can apply for a new one and get the sign up bonus again in a week.  I was told that I couldn't downgrade to the Freedom, only to the free Sapphire card.

1. Has anyone had success downgrading to a Freedom card from a Sapphire preferred?  If so, how I can do this?

2.  If they downgraded me to the free Sapphire card, will I still be apply to apply for a new Sapphire preferred card and get the sign up bonus?

You can always apply again for a card.

You can try having them switch the card to an MC version and then apply using the Visa link (Think only Visa links around now). When they deny you, say you need Visa and close down the MC version.

I have had success send them a secure message.

Short answer? Yes.

Thanks . Can you explain a little more? Maybe I am a little naive.

Because as far as I heard that we can not get bonus twice from same product , can we?  If I simply reapply the same product, how can I get the bonus again?

Thanks again.

Just misinformed. It depends which product. The Chase Sapphire is a very easy churn.

I just closed  this account, how long shall I wait to reapply a new card in order to get the bonus again?

Thanks again.
