Chase lowered my CL to $4500 to approve a new card. Is it turning into a regular sapphire now?

Nope, you're still preferred. Mam, it's on this page
The minimum CL to be approved on a Visa Signature Card is $5000. However, after the account is open they may allow you to reduce the CL below 5k.
Any card can be brought down to $500 once you have it.
Congrats on getting the Marriott card, who called? :)
I try my best :-\

Sounds like a plan. Anyways my SP is stuck open for a few months now (see the "dumb mistakes" thread) so I'll still have a way to get 2x on dining. Not an issue at all if they downgrade husband's SP.

I currently have a freedom card, can I downgrade my SP (yearly fee is coming up) to another freedom and will then have 2 freedoms (and get the 5x categories in both freedom cards)?

My real question is should I just sit tight and points will come (because it's my second sapphire and chase started getting tough on that)
Or be should I be worried and do something about it.
