When is my best chance for getting retention on this card? Does the age of account matter?

are you saying that this card generally doesn't have retention offers or that it's more worthwhile to speed up the churn?

Plus when asking for retention bonus, they spend 5 mins. telling you all the benefits and then NO.

Does Dan have a Sapphire link? The link through creditcards.com following the wiki is 4k in 3 months. Is there a 3k offer?

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

If you rent a phone for Israel on the CSP, and it breaks or gets stolen, is there any protection or insurance provided by CSP?

Do you have to wait 30 dats after downgrading to apply or 20 days will do?

I asked for retention offers multiple times, both on SM and over the phone, nothing doing.

It appears that Chase has stopped approving people for the Sapphire and Freedom cards unless they have applied / received less than 5 cards in the last 24 months.  So for most of us, churning the Sapphire card has become impossible.

I'm not sure about official parameters, but I was denied the Ink Bold recently because of that. I opened a Freedom, Amazon, BA, UMPE, CSP, and UAMC beforehand.

They might've decided that you have "sufficient credit" with them or your credit history is too new, but I've never heard of a "5 in 24 months" rule.

Hey, I haven't had any Chase card before June last year!
