I was just approved for the chase ink business plus card and I am wondering if there is any reason to hold on to my SP card for the year.

1) does my SP give me anything that my IP wont? (i.e. transfer to UR partners)

2) is there a difference in rental card insurance protection?

3) can I always upgrade my non preferred Sapphire to a SP after I close my IP at the end of the free first year or will it be another pull?

Thanks a lot for the help.

If you're CPC, 60k. Otherwise, nothing.

What are the latest data points as far as closing and reopening this card? A couple years ago I was able to give it just a couple of weeks (probably less time would have also been okay.)

Yes, but aside for 5/24. Believe it or not but I don't think that will be a problem for me. I didn't count my aps but I haven't been applying for cards in a long time.

Is there a way to get this without being targeted for it or for that case even being an cpc ?
