i just tried applying for 2 chase cards (saphire and freedom) i got a message saying that they need to further review my application. should i try applying for a ba account while im at it or better not

Is the time limit for getting the sign up bonus a second time, 24 months from opening the account, or from closing down the account?

Not if you are 24 months since the bonus, and card is closed.

Yes. I just did that. Closed the card in month 23, applied in month 24 and got the bonus.

1) If it's been 24+ months but card is still open, can you close it and re-apply next day for bonus?
2) If downgraded to Saphire non-preferred, can you get bonus on a new SP?
