i just spoke to a chase rep and was told that MC no longer covers rentals in israel as of feb 20.is this t/f?

sorry i wasnt clear i called to switch my sp visa to sp MC and my they asked me why i want to switch i said rental to wich she replied MC no longer covers

+1 however the representative gave me a 5000 point bonus to help ofset the cost of insurance

my request to get my visa preferred switched to a world master card preferred was approved. The cs rep said that if I decided to keep the wmc and then I want a visa preferred too, I would automatically get rejected because each person can only have 1 preferred card. Is she correct or if I apply fore the visa after switching my old visa to mc, I will get approved?

Even if this were officially true, it is not practically true, as evidenced by many on DDF.

That depends on a number of factors beyond the fact that your applying for a second SP.

It's been shown that isn't necessary, even if it may or may not make it an easier recon.

There seem to be sufficient differences between the SP Visa and SP WMC to make a persuasive and dispositive recon, even with a current SP WMC.

Looks like the 50k bonus may be coming to a close at some point. Chase's official ad for it is now showing a 40k bonus.
