Will a "pay now" car rental via travelocity be covered for primary insurance?

I currently only have a Freedom but need to transfer my UR to an airline fairly soon. How quickly after getting approved for the Sapphire (or any card eligible to transfer to airline) will I be able to transfer my points out?

I'm trying to get the CSP card but I cant because I have a regular sapphire card. So I think I have to cancel the regular card to get the CSP but I cant transfer the points anywhere. Anyway around it?

They changed it around when CSR turned 2. Maybe they'll change it again when the card turns 4 next year
