Anyone know if you still get the 7% annual bonus if you used or transferred the points? I assumed that you do but a friend told me that last year he used his points in December and never received the 7% bonus.

Transferred to partners = yes.

btw i just rented a car a month ago with my SP WMC and insurance was covered and i just rented a car again and its covered too!

I was able to close my Visa and get approved for the master card after recon but they said I will be getting 40k bonus miles. I see some ppl mentioned 50k. Which one is it?

They always question me why I open and close so many cards. I only close cards with annual fees. I tell them I opened for different airlines for traveling etc but how can you explain why you closed the preferred visa and now you are opening again a few months later?
