when should I switch from CSV TO CSMC to avoid AF after being charged or before being charged (as its now 11 months should I do now or wait till being charged and then call to waive if I transfer) Also there is no possibility to get bonus for opening CSMC?. TIA

Before. I dont think u can apply for a SPWMC now.

Do you have any reason to wait? Switch it over now before the AF hits.

Can i apply for a Sapphire preferred visa while being a cardholder of the Sapphire Master-card non preferred? (Downgraded my Spwmc).

You can apply for whatever you want.

You will most likely have to close down the SMC to get approved and maybe even transfer CL.

Not the same product. Can have a SP and a Sapphire at same time.

Signed up for the SP WMC, did the spending, balanced closed, but only got 3k UR points. Can it be because i hit the threshold too close to the balance closing (forgot regarding which cards this applies), or was this a fail? $:-\$

With Chase it's very common that if you hit the spend threshold close to the closing date that you have to wait another cycle.

how long after closing your Sapphire vise u can reopen again and get the 40k points ?

also my AF came up they told me they cant switch it to a Sapphire master should I just close the account and move over the credit limit ?

1)Reported here 30-60 days ymmv, 2)you can downgrade to a reg cs , depending on how much credit you already have with chase versus how much your income is , you don't want your cl to be too high if you don't have a substantial income to back it up, as this may trigger an a/a.

I have seen it that after closing it can be as quick as next day to reapply. My personal experience is as many as 2-3 days after closing SP card, I have suuceessfuly reapplied and got bonus points.

Your "options to do" once you meet the threshold are, for all intents and purposes, infinite. You are free to eat lunch, if that's what time of day it is. Or you can go fishing, if you are in the mood. Really whatever you feel like doing is fine.
