Just got approved to Sapphire Visa while having Sapphire MC with shifting most of the credit line, so now i have both versions. (still trying to figure out what is that good for)

Anyway is it safe to send SM requesting to be matched to these new sapphire offers or since i am not really eligible for them i can risk not getting them at all?
I just reported the same thing happening in the recon thread. There must be some new policy changes taking place.

I just sent an SM on a different account asking to be matched. If that one comes back positive then you can be sure I'll do the same for the new one.

Theory: With devalued partners, Chase might try to increase bonuses to match mileage inflation.
BA has gotten better, now Sapphire and Freedom.

My chase banker had heard about this deal. (5k AU). As far as getting matched for a SP I had opened a cpl months ago, I sent an SM and they responded that the offer was not made to the open public so they wud not match it for me. (Don't remember the exact quote & I'm not by computer to check I'm on my phone)
Unreasonable is not ok. Picky you're entitled to be.

I had signed up to the SP a few weeks ago. SM sent today asking to be matched to add AU for 5k. Received confirmation they will.

Give it a shot if you recently signed up for the SP!

The real coup will be to get matched to the 50K after 3K. Try again!
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

I do not think it is such a coup if you signed up in the last 90 days.

Will report results when I have 'em.

I was able to pull up 50k link standard but not incognito.
After seeing this I will attempt to match to 50k as well.
BTW when did the SP go up to $125 a year? Last time I had the card I think it was $95??

Dear *********l,

Thank you for contacting us concerning the rewards bonus
points on your Chase Sapphire Preferred account.

I would like to inform you that the 5,000 bonus points
offer for adding an Authorized User is applicable on

account was opened prior to this date, I regret that we
are unable to match the offer on your account.
