When converting the preferred to a none preferred do they change the card number or I can continue using my old card?

One of my AU are now in Israel and wanna know if it'll interfere his card.
You can use the old card until your new one is activated

I was told last week by a chase rep that I could transfer points from my wifes freedom to my sapphire card and then from my sapphire to my marriott card. When i called today about it they told me that the points arent transferable to the marriott or BA or United cards because the points werent kept with chase rather with marriott, BA, and United.
Any advice?

Im not exactly sure what DROPR stands for but its not the only time this has happened to me. I called later on from my SP account wanting to see if i could transfer less than 1000 points and i had to "show" the CR how I got to the page to transfer because they didnt believe it could be done to transfer those points.

Where do you see that? Are you sure it's not talking about adding an Authorized User to your account?
Yes i saw it. I just called SP and they told me that yes they have that deal but the only way to get it is for their marketing team to send you an email with a link otherwise you cant get it

I just got off the phone with Chase about that 5k match for having an AU, and I got denied by the investigation department (or whatever the rep called it) because they said that I had signed up for the Saph at the end off September, and they were honoring it as long as it was 90 days from opening the card (even if the promo started on November 18).  Well, I pursued 2 weeks ago for the 5k as I just found out about it.   She said that the verdict was made, and there is no way of fighting for it.  Should I HUCA or go straight to corporate?  Do I have a solid enough case to fight for it?  TIA

Well, after 4 calls and 3 SMs this is what I got (every single call rep and SM said that I requested too late): :(
Thank you for contacting Chase about your Sapphire
Preferred rewards account.

We apologize for the delay in responding.

As we have previously explained, our records indicate that
you applied for and received an enrollment bonus of 40,000
reward points. We have no record of you applying for an
enrollment bonus of 5,000 reward points for adding an
authorized user to the account. We do try to match
enrollment bonus offers that a customer may see for the
same reward program. However, the customer must contact us
within 90 days of the account open date. Since your
account was opened in September of 2013, we are unable to
match your account to a different enrollment bonus offer
that you may have seen.

If you have any further questions, please reply using the
Secure Message Center.

Thank you,

Tim Moeller

I've tried it all!  Should I go straight to corporate or just throw in the towel?  Any advice is appreciated.

This is actually the first time I received it with a direct line.  As you could see, I kept bugging them for the AU bonus that the supervisor had to email me directly (at least that's what it looks like).  haha

And, say what?  After 4 calls and 3 SMs saying no, do you really think that he would budge this time?  Has anybody turned it around after constant no's?

I also dont want to have to pay the annual fee cause my year is almost up.
