Chase rep told me that before downgrading or cancelling my card it has to be inactive for 30 days. Is that total garbage? Time to HUCA?
Never heard of such a thing-sounds like bogus to me. You should definitely call back, and speak to a different rep.

I currently have the saphire MC and on DDF there is a lot of reports of people having both so last week i applied for the visa version and i called recon and i HUCA 6 times spoke to 6 diffrent reps 2 superviser but the all said no go there is no such a thing as having both the MC and the Visa the only thing i could do is close the MC and open the Visa so now my Q is what am i doing rong? what sould i tell them to convince tham to give me both? and i close the MC iam gonne loose out on the %7 div. and it a nice sum. also if i do close and open the visa will i still be eligabile for the %7 since i applied before they stopped the %7 ? thanks very much iam waiting to hear any advice

Not sure this helps, but they are phasing out the MC version and automatically switching people to Visa. So you can try HUCA, or switch to Visa and get the points for the pull.

Did plenty of $504.95 purchases at the same 7eleven this past month. This branch is clearly a service station as I got 5x on freedom. However it didnt get me 2x points on my sapphire. Do I sm them to get the 2x points added or leave it as is not to raise any eyebrows for 5 purchases of 504.95 ?

Does Primary Rental Car CDW Insurance cover only primary cardholder on Chase account or will it cover authorized user as well that's signed up on reservation?

Does it make a difference if primary or secondary driver on reservation?

Primary account holder would be in agreement as well if it makes a difference. Thanks

The CC insurance covers you and any "authorized driver" who is on the reservation even if the authorized driver is not an AU on the CC account.
+ It covers you and "any AU"
So in this case, you'll be covered for 2 reasons  :)
