I believe the points from Ink are Ultimate Rewards points so the same as Sapphire?

Perhaps the card is intrinsically non up gradable to the better offer for whatever reason, however you did see that better offer so they just credited you the difference.

Oh, my bad (is that what myb stands for lol) I didnt follow this thread because 3K spend is just too much headache for me, so the oilam is getting 80ks i hope.

I was the one that originally reported success getting the extra 30K 2 weeks ago . Someone raised this possibility in another thread and I acted on it . I was actually wondering why there wasn't any more mention of people successfully doing this. I hope everyone is doing it , if not what are you waiting for?

By me they actually denied that there is an 80K offer but after arguing they gave me 30K as a courtesy. Now they have acknowledged it should only get easier .

I am going to go for a triple soon with chase with this being the 3rd. What are my chances?
Approved CO 5/13
Approved BA 5/19
both were reconned after denials.
Have put spending on both so far over $1200 since opened, and paid them off.
2 year history with Chase (freedom).
Only 1 inquiry on file (from 5/5 of the above). Utilization is <2% last 5 months. Is
35 days since last approval enough time? I really need to do it before my time runs out
my my 5k installment loan acceptance as it's 90 days is comming up (builiding a better credit profile and don't want that to deter chase when it hits).
