Finding Lea’s Café in Mexico City Airport.

I was recently in Mexico City airport with a friend and spent almost 30 minutes trying to locate the café. We couldn’t find directions online on where it was located, and after walking almost the length of the terminal 3 times (thanks to miss-information provided by the information kiosk) we eventually found it. In order that others don’t have this issue, here are some detailed instruction on how to find it!

Lea’s Café is in Terminal 1, before security but not in the main area of the terminal. Depending on where you enter the airport there are 2 way to find the café.

If entering by doors 1 thru 6, you’ll see an escalator by security check point “D” (near door 6). Proceed upstairs and you’ll see a sign to the Airtrain, but turn right instead of going towards the Airtrain and walk for about 5 minutes. See below for final steps.

If entering by doors 8 thru 10, you’ll see a double set of escalators opposite door 8. Take these upstairs, turn right at the top (you’ll see a Starbucks), continue round and turn left by the bathrooms. See below for final steps.

If entering by door 7, you can pick either route! (Turn right for doors 1-6 route or left for doors 8-10 route.)

You’ll then come to a bridge that leads to the Courtyard Marriott situated between a Krispy Kreme (not kosher) and a 7-eleven. About half way down the bridge on the left you’ll find Lea’s Café.

When I was in MEX with a friend a few months ago, it took my about as long to find this hidden place too! These directions would of come in handy.

And FYI Lea's is open 24 hours, we were there smack in middle of the night about 3am.

Yes, Lea’s is open 24/6. I do not endorse the kashrut of this establishment. Hopefully others will be able to find it easier from now!

Anyone know if you can access both terminals at MEX airside? Seems the train is only accessible to people with boarding passes, but wasn't sure.

Dang. If I'm flying Aeromexico, and connecting internationally, any clue which terminal I'll end up in?

Aeromexico is terminal 2. Most (not all) skyteam are T2 too. What are you connecting to?

Centurion Lounge is in both T1 and T2. The one in T1 is a dump like the rest of the terminal. The one in T2 is excellent.
