Looks like Route 97 along the Delaware River in Port Jervis, NY

Why not? Right click the Desktop > choose Personalize > choose Desktop Background (bottom left) > choose Pictures Library (from the drop down). You can choose which of your pictures (your "Pictures" folder) to set as the desktop background and can even have it switch between multiple pictures at a specified interval.

you cant do that with windows 7 starter. they don't give you the option to change background

YW, all it took was GIYF.

When you pointed it out I noticed my desktop background is blank (black screen), I always have something open so I rarely even see it.
