Share your experience with a child on a feeding tube

My 5 month old daughter just came home from hospital with a feeding tube and looking for advice from people with similar experience. How do you make sure that your kid doesn't wrap the tube around her neck at night?

I assume feeding is through her nose and its not a gastrostomy which would be through her stomach?

I personally only have experience with a gastrostomy (my baby had the Nasogastric tube for like 3 weeks) but while you're worried about not wrapping around her neck at night how do you make sure she just doesn't pull it out of her nose?

she has pulled it out already and you just have to put it back in...

Got it, Listen i don't want to give you any stupid advice such as, At night put it in only when feeding time and then take it out etc. because i don't have exp with the  Nasogastric and i don't know the reason for your baby having this tube as they say every feeding tube has his story behind it, But i can offer you personal exp with getting the help needed while going through this path, Feel free to move to PM

tape it to the side of the bed or something like that

Rather tape it to the child, taping it to the bed would cause it to come out if the child moves to much!
