Ticket Change Fee - Delta

I have a ticket on Delta that I need to change to another time. The change fee is going to be $150.

I have a Gold Delta Skymiles card. Can that help me avoid or minimize the fee?

Is there anything else I could do? (Other than open an AMEX Platinum for their 200 bucks?)

$150 is a lot. Can anyone help?
