yes you can. But if it’s for grand Hyatt Baha mar be careful. They require the goh and points to come from the same account

When you say that the GOH and points have to come out of the same account for Baha Mar do you mean that if i use my own hyatt points i wont be able to use a GOH from someone else?

Either  way you can have GOH transferred to your account

If you are using your own points and the GOH was transferred to you, that is fine.

Question for the forum:

I am a Globalist. I want to stay in New York for 9 days I am considering the Hyatt Centric Wall Street that seems to have a nice Hyatt Centric Premier suite.

1/ How can I guarantee to get that Suite? I need 2 SUA and I will get it if it's available?
2/ Can I buy 9 Cat 1-7 Free Night or it's too risky?

Thanks!

Anyone else notice longer than usual processing times for transfers? Submitted the request to transfer Hyatt to Hyatt more than a week ago and it still has not processed. Customer service says they see the request and it’s processing…

Looks like I'm facing a 4 night minimum stay, otherwise it's not showing availability. I know you can book and call to drop the extra nights, but I don't have enough points for the 4 nights. Any other way to get around the minimum stay?

Points transfer or award transfer?

When you look at the rates for your hotel of choice, under the Member Rate category you'll see an option called Pay My Way. That will allow you to specify which nights of your stay you want to pay with points, and which with cash. After booking drop the cash nights.

When I use points to book a room for a spouse with the same last name and only they are going to be at check in, is it really necessary to call Hyatt to change the name on the reservation?  That's what I've done in the past but then I lose access to the reservation in my account or app and can't change/cancel it on my own if I need to and then have to waste 15 minutes on chat or phone to do so for something that would otherwise take 5 seconds flat. Just had this experience and it was very frustrating so I'm thinking that maybe it's enough just to put in the notes the full name of the spouse checking in?  Any experience with this?

Anyone familiar with making a reservations for multiple rooms? I need 12 rooms for a weekend (3 nights) Do i call hotel and have them set up some sort of reservation and they can deduct points? Or do i need to do a room at a time? Any benefit of doing it on my account? Do i get credit for all nights/rooms?
