Mehadrin Technologies offers the prepaid plan that works all over the world. It's recommended for Waze only devices because the cost per MB. is 2.5 cents per MB.

You can also get a high usage plan from Mehadrin Technologies for $150 and that includes 10,000MB. with worldwide roaming. I'm not a fan of the US Mobile plan because it's T-Mobile which is not that good in upstate NY and it stops after using 1GB. per month, it doesn't throttle the speed like other T-Mobile plans do, and your plan is based on the month. If you didn't use it, you lose it + it doesn't work outside the US like Canada, Israel, Europe.

I don't recall paying anything but I may have. Definitely wasn't a lot and not more than a one time fee.

What’s the cheapest service out there for Waze only device?
The device is an unlocked iPhone, with only Waze app allowed.
Only need data for Waze, no talk/text needed.
[Yearly plan would be gr8!]

I use Google Fi, additional Sim, no monthly fee they add the data to your main plan.

So odd. Someone just went and they said 30$ a year.
So for next person I called gentech and they said $50. But they went and charged them $100 and took over an hour to install. Go figure.  I see this place in Lakewood has for $50.
May be the best option at this point.

The capability to block things is built into iOS. Better than any add-on filter when the goal is totally blocking access to apps or websites.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Not sure what you’re trying to make into Waze/google maps only.
A tcl device or iPhone?
With iPhone there are 2 options. Either the free gentech block-all which tag can install, in addition to the iOS restrictions. (Should also get the “block Apple.com” profile vpn.
Other option is the mb-smart which tag does for $30 and they then have the ability to add or remove filtration options. (Add or remove apps etc.)

Think it’s for both, I’ll edit this with more info.

Hmm. A yearly fee?! When everything is locked and just a block from accessing anything but the Maps? I think that's an overkill.  Doesn't take much to install and app which does 0 filtering and no reason to contact tech support.
Though of you want to charge a minimal fee to install and setup ok. But yearly? Hmm I have to work on my own filter for others to make use of. That's just taking advantage to an extent.

When Tagging an iPhone for Waze only, Tag can take off almost all built in apps.
(messages, find my, clock, camera, photos, wallet, calculator, podcast, compass, tips, stocks, weather, voice memos, notes, reminders, contacts, Apple Music, FaceTime, Mail, calendar, news, Apple Maps, files, Apple TV, measure, Shazam, translate, health.
Most of these can simply be deleted, however some of them (Messages for example) don’t have the ability to delete them. And the only way to remove them would be how Tag does it, by connecting to a computer and clicking them off, I think with gentech software.)

The only thing they cannot take off is the phone app. [Probably settings too!]
However, you can block the calling thru the screen time setting, communication limits, and block everyone during screen time and during downtime.
You’ll still be able to call emergency numbers, though I doubt hatzolah is categorized by the carriers as an emergency number.
(Anyway to have it categorized as such???)
