I don't see a "refresh" button or "Favorites" tab anywhere.
I'm on Android.
In any case the contact somehow disappeared overnight after having deleted it from my phone's contacts.

Thanks guys for the help anyway.

pleasure

the app probably closed and therefore the next time you opened it, it refreshed, deleting the contact from your list

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

I just did refresh and it worked for me. Press the plus symbol like you are going to add a new conversation and then click the options tab in the top right, it will have a refresh option...

I'm switching phones. I saw the my conversations were backed up.
I inserted the memory card into the computer but can't seem to find my Whatsapp conversations anywhere, anyone know where I should look?
Also, any way I can load the conversation onto my new device or they just stay backed up in the memory card?

Thanks for any advise you can provide.

I'm hearing reports that it doesn't work on Android. Can you confirm this for Android as well?

Cool, will try it based on this. Worse case they will be on the old phone and I always have the option to email conversations.

Just delete the app and re-download, you'll get a few month extension. (if it's worth your hassle) all your conversations will be saved

Dying for that option.
That's why I love Google chat or Sms with gv, so I can move freely from a cell phone conversation to a computer and vica versa.

Download Bluestacks. Here's a tutorial: http://www.techempty.com/install-whatsapp-on-pc/
