Thanks to the recent updates of WhatsApp for iOS and Android, users can finally open chats with unknown phone numbers, so they do not need to temporarily add unknown phone numbers to their address book

Following the initial release of the ability to create and follow WhatsApp Channels in Singapore and Colombia, WhatsApp has now shared an announcement that this feature is finally available to additional countries for those users on the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS, Android, and Desktop.

WhatsApp has recently shared an announcement on Twitter stating that channels are now available in additional countries: Egypt, Chile, Malaysia, Morocco, Ukraine, Kenya, and Peru.

My Whatsapp chats are not showing in order of last received message, anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Had this issue yesterday. Updated the app and it sorted itself out - looks like attached images

The issue with the update is that when you press the button to record a voice note it switches to camera. (the new feature to send small videos in the chat)

Probably not the place to post this but I’m not happy with wtvr new update WhatsApp did with communities. The Dansdeals alert WhatsApp group requires 2 clicks to see the posts now. One click brings you to the list of groups within the community (in this case, just one-the announcements group) and then another click into the announcements group to view the posts. That’s pretty stupid

Very annoying.
But you can click the notification to go right to it.

Not all communities are affected but yeah, pretty annoying on DD...
