I have a community I created for online sellers, I created a different group for each topic. Someone that joins one group can easily join and browse the other groups.

Should be 1 click if you click on your phone's notification though.

I don’t know how you’re using the community feature, but I definitely don’t keep my notifications on for it.

One that I've seen:
A virtual kollel that has multiple groups, one for the main sugya being learnt, another for other shailos utshuvos, another for finding chavrusos, another for carpooling to in person shiurim, etc.
Then an announcement group for reminders for the live shiurim etc.

Write to Whatsapp. It's ridiculous.

Worth noting that Twitter and Telegram are faster and more reliable. Whatsapp is a mess of an app.

The “frum community” is a very broad term. Those who filter their phones and have WhatsApp overwhelmingly don’t  have access to FB/ IG etc. on their phones. WhatsApp was seen by the yeshivish/ heimishe community as a kosher app that offered functionality without the pitfalls of the social media platforms. Until now.

To see your muted status updates, you now need to click the three dots in the upper right to access them.

This is why I have auto update of apps turned OFF. Unless it gets to a point where I need to update, I don't update.

I turned mine off for WA app specifically
Until I see a need for the new updates

While turning off auto update may prevent you from getting the features, having the latest update won't necessarily get you them.

I am able to create a channel, but cannot add additional admins.
