What's the best way to transfer a whatsapp account from ios to Android? Any way to do it without downloading third party software?
If you want the media to be transferred, I don't think so. I used wazzap migrator. ( They have a free version that doesn't transfer the media to test it )

In Settings the backup to Google Drive wouldn't be good enough?

So you need wazzap, plus another third party app to extract the whatsapp backup?

Don't remember exactly, but it needed to be via a computer. I was pretty shocked that there were no simpler methods

It is such a no brainer. How difficult would it be to add a "restore from icloud" button on Android, or a "restore from Google Drive" button on ios? Must be partisan politics.

Not sure what you're getting at. I'm just curious how whatsapp picks up on the website especially since I don't have a browser on my phone

VEry simple, just like you can know it is a URL whatsapp can know, they can very easily see that it is text ending with .TLD, the URL is then queried to their server to show an excerpt of the page

Anyone here has experience with emailing whatsapp conversation?
trying to email one with 6 voicenotes, none longer than 2 mins and it's not attaching the vn's for this particular convo.
Other conversations with more and larger vn's are getting attached no problem.
What's going on?

What's the best way to get whatsapp for a business line?

Unfortunately, cannot work as a standalone app on a PC. Using earlier versions of iOs there might have been a way to get it activated on an iPad, but it seems like that is no longer available (can't use iFunbox to copy the library from an activated whatsapp on a phone).

Seems like I will have to just get a phone to sit around in the office, just so I can keep a "business WhatsApp" line open. Amazon Prime now offers a BLU phone for $49.99. Is that my best option? Any other suggestions to allow me to have whatapp active on a separate (business/GV) number?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Get a Google Fi phone and plan. Great for an extra Whatsapp number, great for traveling abroad.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
