Is it possible to email Whatsapp and ask them to transfer numbers?
Without needing a number verification? No.

Next they need a "discreet exit group" feature.

Yup but a huge PITA (programs cost money, slow etc..)

Not to mention google gives android users unlimited backup via GDrive, while at apple it takes up valuable room in ones meager icloud

I'm definitely switching from Note 9 to IPhone 12 the question is now will I have 6 years of messages, vn, and media, or not. It would nice to have it. I'm willing to pay a couple of dollars and a few hours of my time. It would be helpful if anyone had such an experience

Poor you🤦‍♂️

As a piece of advice I'd keep the files from whatsapp on the note 9 backed up separately, unless your going to pay for a higher level of iCloud (a path with no return :P)

As for your question at hand GIYF (With all possible abbreviations :) )

Won't be using Icloud for anything besides for Whats App. I doubt I'll need more than the minimum amount of space they offer.

Are you including all the biden gaffe videos I don't need? Once a month I go through my media delete 95% of media, and transfer useful media to SD Card. Right now I just have chats, voice notes, and audio, totalling about 3gb.

There is now a large media cleanup tool built into WhatsApp, as well as an interesting disappearing messages feature

As some would say:
Settings > apps > whatsapp > uninstall  ;)

Maybe anyone can help, changed device my WhatsApp only brought in the messages till October then I realized it's because there wasn't a backup since (said last backup was october), so I uninstalled WhatsApp from new device went back to original device (all messages are there till todays date) there was a backup done last night then this morning re-installed WhatsApp on new phone but still only brought in the messages and chats till October, any ideas how to get everything to come in? Thanks.

Did you uninstall whatsapp on the second phone before trying again? (If yes did it give you the option to restore from backup?)
