Yes I uninstalled WhatsApp from the new device and when reinstalled today it said backup available from this morning but it didn't bring everything in.
It didn't load any messages??
Tried uninstalling and trying again?

You do have to click on the backup and restore it from there.

If you properly uninstalled it, and restored it from today's backup then that doesn't make much sense.
Try again it can't hurt.

Maybe anyone can help, changed device my WhatsApp only brought in the messages till October then I realized it's because there wasn't a backup since (said last backup was october), so I uninstalled WhatsApp from new device went back to original device (all messages are there till todays date) there was a backup done last night then this morning re-installed WhatsApp on new phone but still only brought in the messages and chats till October, any ideas how to get everything to come in? Thanks.
Google backup?

Asking to restore from Google drive makes sense? I didn't save anything there

On which phone?
Just make sure the latest GDrive backup is from the phone with all your messages, then restore from GDrive on the new phone

The old original phone, no idea how to do gdrive backup, I assumed that if WhatsApp does backup then it should bring everything in till today.

Gotta be more specific. Which phone and which backup the local or with GDrive?

Go in your backup settings and make sure GDrive is configured.

The new phone this morning when I tried to reinstall it showed last backup this morning but it didn't bring everything in.

Yes.
It's possible it backed up the new phone, so the "latest" backup won't include all massages.

Considering that backup is from the old phone, uninstall whatsapp and restore from GDrive.

Uninstall from the second new phone and then reinstall it should give you an option to restore from GDrive
