Would be cool if they turned the voice feature into an option to transcribe your voice message

it's called talk to text

Isn't it discreet if no one else can hear it?

First of all by default it goes to the speakers, second of all, a 10 second voice message takes 10 seconds to listen to but only 1-2 seconds to read.

it's a feature within most android keyboards. not necessarily an independent app

You do understand that $20MM in company top-line revenue in a business that has multiple partners and investors isn't the same as having $20MM in your bank account, right?

Judging from his personality I doubt he took much if anything out from the company (which would just hinder growth).

It's a trip for the company, it's got nothing to do with dividends.

If he actually risked a $19b deal over a $20k ticket then of course he's a nutcase. But sometimes it's good to have deadlines.

He said that the company didn't pay for travel, they always used miles.
Perhaps it's his food stamp upbringing but there's something to be said for frugality.

Obviously he wasn't truly going to risk a $19B deal over some miles. It was just impetus to get the deal done and as a kicker to save his LH ticket.
People are looking too deeply into a cute story.

Wrong, they are pretty much all using the google text to speech, which is a separate file or app on many phones.

interesting but we're talking about the reverse. Most keyboards (including swype which is what i use) have a button that you press that allows for talk to text.
