Taking a sick day is one less day I can go on vacation. (My company doesn't care what type of day it is. We get X number of paid days off.)

I would love to come to the DO! Was really disappointed I missed the last one after the "fast" day.
But...

1. Will you guys make fun of me because I don't have GE? 

2. I want to fly BOS-ORD-BOS with Avios, all on Thursday. Looks like there's no availability for the return trip, and if tomorrow and Wednesday are any indication of what Thursday will look like, nothing seems likely to open up.    Besides using SW points and flying into MDW (not ideal, obviously), any suggestions?

The "Reuben" at Rubins isn't half-bad, but you have to make sure you get them to toast the bread; frequently they balk.
And, be sure to ask them for a waffle from the kids' menu.  It's still on the menu but they haven't had a waffle iron for more than 3 years.
