I feel a responsibility to let the DDF community know what happened because she's now fraudulently taking advantage of the Jewish community and our willingness to pay for "kosher" adventures. I can't figure out a way to take out my link to her company name and website at the beginning of this TR (maybe you guys can help me).
I was in Panama last week and used a guy Mauricio +507 6102-1615He was very honest and well priced. I highly recommend him.
On another note, we went to Islas Las Perlas (they have a ferry from Panama City) and it was truly spectacular and I enjoyed it way more than San Blas. I’m excited to post pictures and a write up when I’m back on a computer as I think so many families will enjoy it and I don’t think it’s been written about on DDF. The scenery is amazing, you can easily get a boat to take you to your own private beach on an uninhabited island and the archipelago is where humpback whales mate and give birth so we got to get close to and watch them too!Also, I’ll try to give details about restaurants near Sortis (and other ones too that haven’t been mentioned) for all the people coming soon!
Las Perlas vs a day in colon/portobelo if I’m looking to relax in a private island /beach and snorkeling?
Colon/Portobelo, but make sure you go with a good guide. We used Maricio mentioned up thread. Las Perlas is nice but I found Colon/Portobelo way more relaxing.
I spoke with Mauricio and he was convincing me the same but I wanted to hear an independent review. You did both and enjoyed portobelo more?
Yes. Las perlas more action, much more active day. Portobelo way more relaxing. He takes you to a private island. Tell him you want to go here:

I've had several people comment to me recently on how expensive Sorhay has become and that others were charging a fraction of the cost for the same tours - and these folks reported they all had a great time afterwards with the other tour guides.Even if one would completely disregard the recent events that transpired between you and Sorhay, I am not sure it is worthwhile to recommend her anymore solely based on her prices. We can all just provide our own kosher food for these trips and save $$$$$$.
I agree with this one hundred percent!I reached out to her for my some summer 2022 trip and she was a fortune so I found someone else.
