Any word on which routes will get 787 service?
Elal phone agent advised me this week that YYZ will get the 787 by August!Who knows!!!
Probably to compete with the AC 787 on that route. If it's true....
As a reminder, the 787 is a replacement for a 767
But it will also be replacing 747's. They'll probably just add more frequency to those routes. (El Al doesn't have 16 767's to replace)
Forget about BOS getting a 787

The routes it will fly on? Of course not.
BOS route is being canceled once Maimons kid finishes school there. If they announce the SFO route soon, we know he's going to Stanford or Berkeley for Grad school
But we don't even know yet the configuration of the seats
Just a reminder, an airline usually uses a new plane for shorthauls for the first month or two for crew training etc. I wonder if that will be the case here and if so, on what routes
They are getting their 1st plane the 2nd week of September. No color yet on the first route
