Sure. Address please?
LGA (you can also serve by mail or overnight courier such as UPS or FedEx):

Did you try just sending by mail to Delta Ticket Office at JFK and/or Laguardia?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

You cannot serve by mail or overnight courier.

You (as long as your not a party) can personally serve them at the airport, though.

The main reason I haven't flown premium LY until now has been for two reasons: (i) the hard product, and (ii) the mileage program.

They're fixing the former (at least to be in line with competition), but they haven't (and I suspect won't) fix the latter.  As such, I'm still not going to fly them premium, unless I can book them using BP 50% in the next year.

All that said, I won't bash a product until I've flown it.

Where do you get that from?

If it's small claims court, they usually tell you לכתחילה to serve by mail.

Also in other courts often the judge will authorize mail service.

1) Personal experience. 2) Only the clerk does so initially.  3) Only with permission beforehand.

Thank you. So I tell him to deliver at any ticketing counter at JFK or LGA?

If by "him" you mean the plaintiff, then, no. If by "him," you mean someone else, then yes (provided you follow the below).

1) Can't argue with personal experience (are you talking about NYC?).
2) I only sued once in small claims court, and as far as I can recall, I was told to serve papers by certified mail, which I had to do myself (and then bring mailing receipt as proof to the court IIRC).
3) True, which is what I said. A judge can authorize service by mail.

Only for good cause shown why you cant serve personally.

I've recently seen papers where the judge hand-wrote that service should occur by mail. Though those papers were not a summons and complaint, but rather something relating to an ongoing proceeding or motion.

Generally, anything subsequent to the complaint can occur by mail.

and I would like to say (again?) I don't understand the outright bash against LY, I had good experience with them (not on-board but with their call center) and had really bad experience with other legacy carriers. every airline has their good and bad. I would like to know why everyone here when they fly LY they have to "apologize" why they couldn't fly with the other airlines.

@Dan - LY could be asking 200k for a RT business award, but how many times do UA/DL have saver? Like in a blue moon, so compare rather LY 200k vs UA 350k. Their YQ isn't outrageous, its lower then what they ask for rev bookings, and their cancellation fees are less then UA/DL.

After all, that is what matters. You're on-board for over 10 hours at a time.

What are the options to earn 200k LY Matmid points, compared to the options with UA? And while you are probably correct about non-stop availability being better with LY than UA or DL saver, are there any decent alternatives for Matmid points when there's no non-stop availabilty?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Plan B and other methods for those in the know.

Also I don't pay UA cancel fees, so obviously that makes things different for me personally.

Then why are you commenting on whether they are a good experience or not?

For the same reason Dan can comment without having flown them....

Lordy...saying you only had good experiences when you've never flown them as a reason someone else should fly them is ridiculous.

I never said I've had a bad experience with them. I said I haven't flown them because:

A. I don't see a compelling reason to pay a significant premium over UA to fly LY J over UA J given that I only eat SKML. And the premium is more than 120K+$600 for my family as I'd still need to spend another 100K to get my family to EWR!

B. Even when they reached out to me about my criticism of the LY downgrade and I asked to open F award space for my fam on a flight with 0/8 in F they would only do a daytime and not a redeye flight, despite the redeye also going out 0/8 in F.

Which is why Dan has very clearly stated that he is basing on their poor mileage program and the like and has not spoken about the other aspects of their in flight experience.
