ElAl: Lawsuit on Matmid Points approved as class action

Google translate from Tel Aviv Stock Exchange filling:

"Further to the immediate report of the Company dated April 15, 2015 (Ref. No. 01-079609), regarding the request to approve a claim as a class action ("the Motion"), which was filed against the Company regarding the change in the terms of the Frequent Flyer Club ("Club" The Company confirmed that on November 14, 2017, the District Court of Tel Aviv-Jaffa approved the request. The main remedies are declaratory relief, which indicates that the changes made in the club program conditions were made unlawfully; Monetary compensation for members of the group for damage caused to them as a result of changes in club conditions; Or alternatively issuing an order instructing the company to allow club members to take advantage of points accumulated in the past according to the club's conditions prior to the change. The group of claimants was generally defined as members of the club, which at the time of each of the changes made, held points and their points were devalued due to the changes.

Nice. Perhaps this should be done with every airline that makes a devaluation (any that don't? ) that they should have to compensate for the decreased value of the miles earned prior to the devaluation.

When signing up for the program don't you agree to the T&C that they can change the rules without notice?

I think this case specifically deals with the perceived lack of good faith when they devalued shortly after releasing the Fly Card a couple years back.

Was asking @Cashman

UA 77W should be a wider seat than LY 787.

Any LY SKML pics?

People say LY seat is a bit wider. Guess they made the aisles narrow enough..

Seems hard to believe given the size of a 787 and 77W.
Need to someone to measure both...

Flew both. LY 787 is a real winner, even in Y

Legroom is decent, pitch is amazing (bottom part of seat moves along) & seat itself is very comfortable fabric. Similar to UA reg old 777 but newer

United 77W seats are hard narrow and uncomfortable

If I need to choose regular economy to Israel (without upgrading to econ plus) the LY 787 would be my first choice

Interesting.
I've heard from several readers who thought that LY 787 Y was a torture chamber.

Very interesting since I am a very frequent flyer and the LY 787 was the best econ cabin experience I had in a while. Was on the red-eye TLV/EWR window seat, front cabin.

I can say that UA or Delta Econ Plus is better. But for reg economy LY 787 was really nice

Opinion likely depends on whether you need the extra seat width and how much you are addicted to the internet.

If it's wider, and the air is better due to it being the 787, then isn't that a bigger deal than Wi-Fi to 95% of economy passengers? Especially since they should be installing WiFi in the beginning of 2018 iirc.
