I called and asked a UA rep that question and was told that they would issue a new voucher.  However, someone posted a while ago that it doesn't work but he was able to get them to do it after complaining that he didn't know etc.

buying a fully refundable ticket works with about to expire delta vouchers.  you get a refund for the charged amount and a new voucher for the voucher amount.

if you buy a fully refundable ticket, you're going to get all your $$$ back and if you'd lose the voucher otherwise, you've got nothing to lose....

You get a refund for the charged amount - cash or voucher?

If I buy a Y/B/M tkt with an ecredit I get cash back?
how do they send it?

if I buy a $3000 tkt and only use a $1000 voucher, will they issue a $1000 voucher and refund the rest or just refund it all?
