Hi everyone
On a work trip in Jerusalem and bought several souvenirs from a vendor near the old city/Mamila mall area. I paid for the souvenir with my reserve card and upon getting back to my hotel I noticed the item was broken. I went back to the vendor and told him the item he sold was broke. He offered to glue it back together and when I said no and I just wanted a refund he got super aggressive and said I broke it. He continued saying this is the Muslim part of the city and Jews have started getting out of hand with privilege, money, etc. I told him I was gonna call the police and he said they weren't going to do anything. After a few minutes he relented and replaced the broken part with something that doesn't match the original item I purchased. Will the credit cards purchase protection or return protection work?
